Anabolic Steroids
Anabolic Steroids are powerful drugs that help the body gain mass, but also hurts the body with drastic side effects. Anabolic Steroids are a type of natural and synthetic hormone that stimulates cell growth and division, resulting in an increase of muscle tissue and strength. The growth only occurs when combined with physical training (Wikipedia.org/wiki/Anabolic_Steroids).
Anabolic Steroids may help you gain muscle mass, but with a high price. Steroids have noticeable side effects including acne and scars, an increased sex drive, increased hair growth in Androgen-Sensitive areas, deepened voice along with an increased vocal cord size, more or bigger muscles, a larger appetite, bone remodeling, increased production of Red Blood Cells, liver damage, headaches, irritability, trouble sleeping, and jaundice (Santella 613.8). In Males, the penis may decrease or increase in size, breasts can be developed, premature balding, and testicular pain. In Females, development of man-like features may occur (Santella 613.8).
There are many different types of Anabolic Steroids, but mostly there are oral anabolic steroids and intravenous steroids (Santella 613.8). Oral Steroids are usually pills that one would take through the mouth. Intravenous Steroids are injected into the body (Santella 613.8). Some different types of Oral Anabolic Steroids are Anadrol, Anavar, Dianabol, Maxibolin, Methyltestosterone, Primobolin, and Winstrol (Santella 613.8). Types of Intravenous Steroids include Triamcinilone, Betamethasone, and Prednisone (Santella 613.8).
Teenagers are often users of Anabolic Steroids. Teens often acquire Anabolic Steroids from dealers at school, the Internet, or some types are even sold over the counter at local health stores. For that reason, a large amount of teenagers have access to the drug for their use. As for the reason teens use steroids, those who have admitted to taking them have said they used them to be better at sports, "fit in" or "be sexy" (Santella 613.8). Statistically, Male teens are more prone to use anabolic steroids than female teens, because males are more likely to try to get an advantage in sports. About 14% of athletes in the 12th grade were found to be using steroids, and about 13.3% of 10th grade were found to be using steroids (Santella 613.8).
Teens have even made up their own slang terms for Anabolic Steroids. Some of these names include "juice", "gum", "candy", "pumpers", and "pops".
"Arnolds", and "Stackers". Such slang terms can be used as "code names" in order to keep them secret from adults or authorities (Santella 613.8).

My girlfriend and I are collage students. She invited me for summer break to spend a few weeks with her family. She has a younger brother 2 collage age sisters and a mom that looks like a model. She has a picture of her mother and sisters in bikinis WOW!!!

She warns that her house is small. Out of necessity they have a family bath that takes up most of the basement. It’s 6 open showers and a 6 place vanity accommodate all family members at ONCE! Before the basement remodeling it took hours for everyone to get ready.

The problem – no Privacy and no modesty. Except for back washing touching is off limits. She assures me nothing perverted goes on.

If I go, every one will be checking me out and I’ll be checking them out ! I won’t mind this except an erection will reveal my secret thoughts. If I get real nervous it will shrivel up and I’ll be embarrassed. Women don’t have this problem.

Should I just go along and try to fit in, not go, or hope to find some privacy? Please help me decide.
Girls if you had a home life like this how would you react to a sister bringing in her boy friend to share showers etc. with you ? How would you react to his erections or shrunk up response?

Does a psychiatrist really help when you have depression and anxiety. My parents are alcoholics what my depression and anxiety oils down to is my mother. I am 21 years old and want a mom. I wanna be ale to talk to her. And she is always in the bottle in her own world and thiere isnt one thing i can do about it. What should i do i am already on alot of medication for it… I have bought a house about 3 months ago with my bf of 7 years and i want my mom to be appart of it. I have been keeping a secret for months now and it really hurts me that i have to keep this a secret. I dont like lying. We are remodeling the whole house and we dont live in it yet. I want someone to talk to about everything. My bf is excellent he takes great car of me. Its not the same as having a mom to talk to. If any one has expiernce with this please tell me your story and the out come of everything please. Thanks so much.
Also my grand mother needs help with my grandfather who has really bad alzhiemers and my aunt just has spinal surgery and has staph infec and my mother is getting surgery on her foot in 2 weeks n she will be off for 6 weeks… I dont have ne time to take off work
with out the meds i am no good!!

Has anyone read anything on this? I can’t remember where I read it, but historians and sociologists of all stripes have pointed out the heavy influence Victorian England has had on the American (sexual) imagination. Sexual problems were figured as fiscal problems and were imaged by metaphors of accumulation, production, and excessive expenditure. As Foucault has suggested, the middle class lacked the means, and therefore had to invent the means, for defining itself as a class. Sexual reproduction and economic production became deeply symbolically linked. Sexuality (one’s relation to one’s body and to the bodies of others) became the language for expressing one’s relation to class (one’s relation to labor and to the labor of others). The middle class figured itself as different from both the aristocracy and the working class by irtue of its sexual restraint (its monogamy) and its economic moderation (its thrift).

e.g., sexual metaphors taking on economic language: "Women ’saved’ themselves for marriage, or ‘cheapened’ themselves in promiscuity; men ‘wasted’ or ’spent’ themselves in masturbation or homosexuality." …

This is so cool!, but I was wondering if anyone can give me some cool info on this message. I realize "phooey" is the equivalent of "crap," but is there any other interesting fact?

From what I remember, there was a lady who did some remodeling in her apartment or home and the guy who did the remodeling built a secret passage in her pantry and lived in the walls of her home watching her every move. The lady felt everyday that something was wrong so she installed a security system in the house. Eventually she found the secret passage way and fought and killed the guy. ( in a nut shell ) Does anyone remember the name of this movie or has seen it? Its driving me crazy.

I can’t help but notice many posts make the seemingly-irrelevant reference to a person’s faith, most specifically Judaism, when asking a question about something else altogether.
They say things like "Joe , Charlie and Sam the Jew"

To those who do this, please enlighten me on the significance.
Is this some sort of code? or inside joke?
Or are you trying to set the stage for another Jewish massacre?

Well, have you ever heard of Shadow the Hedgehog for Nintendo Gamecube? Well, I was wondering if Sega had any secret plans to develop a remodeled game or a brand new game based on Shadow the Hedgehog.
